Prep Boarding
MSJ Prep’s boarding provision offers a warm, family-style experience, supported by an exceptional team of dedicated House Staff. Many pupils choose to try boarding, and Benhams provides a nurturing home from home for boarders from Year 3 to Year 9. Divided into Benhams Junior for Prep and Year 7 pupils and Benhams Senior for Years 8 and 9, the house ensures age-appropriate care and support throughout.
With cosy dormitories, welcoming shared spaces and a garden for play and relaxation, pupils quickly feel settled and happy. Evenings combine prep time with fun activities, while weekends offer supervised outings for younger boarders and greater independence for senior pupils, always with staff support.
Flexi Boarding at MSJ
This allows your child the chance to engage with evening activities, whether academic or social and allows for a slightly later wake up call in the morning. Day pupils are each given two nights boarding per term at no additional cost so every pupil can take advantage of boarding life at Malvern St James.
