National Computing Award for MSJ

Over Christmas, we received a certificate from the National Centre for Computing Education, highlighting our achievements and commitment to improving gender balance in computer science.

The I-belong programme was created to reduce the gender gap within Computer Science, and to show girls from a young age that they belong in the industry.

I-belong aims to help teachers and leaders understand the barriers to girls’ participation in computer science and make a plan to overcome them. We offer curated resources, training and implementation support to empower you with the tools to help develop positive attitudes towards computing among female students, resulting in more girls choosing computer science qualifications and careers.
