Malvern St James has been named a Trinity Champion Centre 2024/25 recognised by Trinity College London.
Trinity College London is a leading international exam board and independent education charity that specialises in the assessment of communicative and performance skills covering music, drama, combined arts and English language.
The Arts are a popular choice amongst all students, from Prep to Sixth Form, at Malvern St James. The Bronze and Silver Arts Awards are embedded into our curriculum be that through Art, Drama or Music.
Since the launch of the Bronze Arts Award in 2005 pupils in Years 7 and 8 have had the chance to work towards this with many progressing to The Silver Arts Award in Year 10 and Sixth Form. As part of their Bronze Awards pupils have a whole week off timetable working with professional artists and arts practitioners, and the Silver Arts pupils work on a project with an Arts Organisation, such as Vamos Theatre Company.
Trinity Champion Centres inspire other organisations by sharing their practice and advocating for accreditation in their communities and more widely.
Malvern St James Girls’ School successfully stages a number of shows, exhibitions and performances throughout the year giving all students the opportunity to perform.
