Welcome Booklet
The Welcome Booklet is issued at the start of each academic year and contains a host of useful information for you and your child.

The iSAMS Parent Portal is your one-stop-shop for accessing your child’s reports, timetable, key information and communications, as well as the parent consultation platform.

School Calendar
We have an interactive School calendar (SOCS) which can be accessed on desktop and mobile devices: SOCS Calendar, we recommend you save the address in your favourites as you will need to refer to it quite frequently.
Sports Calendar
Sports fixtures are visible on the SOCS Calendar but if you want more detail you will need to view the SOCS Sport calendar. If your child is part of a team, you will be sent a password to access the team selection, this password is regularly updated and you will be informed when it changes.

Where can I view my child’s latest report/grades?
Your child’s report can be viewed via the iSAMS Parent Portal. The iSAMS Parent Portal is your one-stop-shop for accessing your daughter’s reports, timetable, key information and communications, as well as the parent consultation platform.
You can access the portal here: iSAMS Parent Portal, or you can download the iSAMS parent app for free from Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Search for the iParent App by iSAMS Limited on your device in your app store.
All parents and guardians are given an account and will receive an introductory email detailing how to activate your account. If you have any questions, need support or do not have a portal account, please email it@malvernstjames.co.uk.
When is the Carol Service/Prizegiving and Commemoration?

My child has just joined as a Boarder. How do I connect with other parents?
We encourage all parents to join Classlist, this is the perfect place to meet other parents in your child’s year group.

My child can’t do their homework, what should I do?
You can either write a note on their work, message their Subject Teacher or email their Form Tutor. If you don’t know the email address for the Subject Teacher or Form Tutor send a message to communications@malvernstjames.co.uk.
When is my child’s next Parent Consultation evening?
All Parent Consultation evenings can be viewed on the SOCS Calendar, we recommend you save the address in your favourites. You will need to filter by Year Group and Parents Invited.

Who is the Designated Safeguarding Lead and how do I get in touch with them?
Mrs Zinnia Wilkinson, Deputy Head Pastoral, is our Designated Safeguarding Lead and can be contact via email: wilkiz@malvernstjames.co.uk.
My child has lost their sports top, who can I contact?
If your child has searched the last place they had the item, checked lost property and put her own message on the Pupil Shared Resources Team they should then ask their Form Tutor for help.
The Form Tutor will be able to send a message out to everyone in MSJ asking them to keep an eye out for the item.
