MSJ at the Annual Enterprise Challenge 2024

On Wednesday 6 November, Year 12 students went to Gloucester University to learn about annual Enterprise Challenge. The Challenge requires teams to address one of the following :

  • Digital Innovation / Entrepreneurship

Insights & impacts, show us your reasons for the importance of this technology

(Apps, websites etc) practice upon the Gloucestershire business environment.

or

  • Why Gloucestershire needs this sustainable enterprise

Justify your ideas with credible market research, data and ethical/sustainable

rationale.

or

  • We think this new enterprise, would be a success because..?

Evidence of financial forecasts, budgets and your passion for making this business a

success! Sell it to us with ’ £$€ ’ in mind!

During the day, we learnt about marketing, finance and the importance of digital technology. We now have 5 weeks to put our pitch together before presenting it to a panel of judges in School and the winning team representing MSJ in the finals on Wednesday 11 December at the University.

The challenge will allow us to develop 5 key skills – entrepreneurship, solution building, presenting, communication and connection building – which will all be beneficial for both our future studies and the world of work.
