Our meat comes from DT Waller and Sons, a family butcher nestled just over the Malvern Hills in Herefordshire. Their commitment to traditional methods and animal welfare aligns perfectly with our values. From beef and pork to lamb, poultry, and game, each cut comes from local farms like Risbury Court Estate and Lewis Family Pork Farm, where quality and care are paramount.
A Menu to Delight Every Palate
At MSJ, we believe that every meal should be an enjoyable experience. Our breakfast menu features a variety of options that provide a healthy, nutritious start to the day. This includes hot and cold options, for example oven-baked sausages with baked beans and poached eggs and occasional treats such as Belgian waffles and American pancakes with mixed berry compote. Each day has a different offering to start the morning well.
Lunchtime has a wide variety, and each week we are treated to a sumptuous roast dinner with all the trimmings, as well as dishes such as korma, fish and chips, spaghetti bolognese, tacos, stuffed tomatoes and salmon carbanara, also available is a jacket potato station, and let’s not forget our delicious homemade soups and bread. Its why our pupils love school food so much.
Supper options provide a satisfying end to the day. From classic favourites like Hunters chicken with new potatoes and green beans to comforting lasagne with both beef and vegetarian options, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Deserts are always on the menu for both lunch and supper, and you will often find some firm favourites available such as homemade crumble with custard, or profiteroles filled with fresh cream and smothered in chocolate sauce. If they don’t grab your fancy you can opt for a piece of fresh fruit, berries when in season, yoghurt or a bowl of chopped exotic fruit.
