Girls had the chance to show their public speaking and performance skills to fellow pupils and staff at the final round of the Year 7 Poetry Reading Competition, bringing their work on poetry to a dramatic close.

Girls were supported by their classmates, with prizes awarded to those who placed first, second or third. Jaz was the overall winner who read her chosen poem, ‘Kingfisher,’ by Robert Macfarlane.
