A huge congratulations to our Year 13 pupil, Kristy, who participated in The Cultures of China Water Cube Cup Chinese Songs Contest 2021 and has received first prize in the UK Overseas Students' Category. 

The Cultures of China Water Cube Cup Chinese Songs Contest has been running since 2011. It celebrates Chinese music and culture amongst Chinese-speaking individuals and communities based all around the world. 

In 2020, the competition broadcasted live online for the first time via webcams. A staggering 2,000 contestants from over 30 countries participated. 

Kristy performed her piece live in front of a webcam while the live judging panel observed. 

We wish Kristy all the best as she prepares herself for the next round.
