The Art department hosted a very successful workshop on Saturday 2 October with visiting printmaker Adrienne Craddock.
Adrienne worked for an extended day with GCSE students to produce prints in a variety of techniques taken from their own drawings of various locations in Cornwall.
She began by showing them her own work and explaining her sources of inspiration. There then followed a series of demonstrations after which students worked enthusiastically to produce a range of prints using collagraph techniques.
It was a very rewarding day in which students and staff learnt new and exciting techniques which will be used to further develop their Cornwall project.
