Each year we hold an Expressive Arts Week where girls take part in all aspects of Expressive Arts from acting, singing, set design and so much more.
As this year is a little different, and we didn't want the girls to miss out, 70 girls from Year 7 and 8 took part in two Expressive Arts days virtually. They experienced a range of activities including Drama, Music, Dance, Art and Digital Editing. They worked in online groups, planning, rehearsing and performing sections of ‘Aladdin’, with teachers leading and supporting by ‘calling in’ to see how they were progressing and giving direction where needed.
They videoed clips of the musical, and a member of the group edited them together to create a full scene from the musical. Unfortunately, we can not share with you the final videos but below are a few screenshots, costume designs and words from the girls.
Well done girls you have learnt so many new skills in such a short space of time and the videos are fantastic.
