Girls travel to Malvern St James from a wide catchment area throughout Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Monmouthshire, Warwickshire and Worcestershire.
School Minibus Service
For your convenience we operate a number of School minibuses to transport girls to and from School. The minibuses collect in the morning to arrive at school ahead of registration time, and depart from School at 18:10 after Prep or extracurricular activities. The exception is Friday and Exeat Fridays when the school minibuses depart earlier.
This transport service is run by Malvern St James Girls’ School and members of the public cannot use it.
A place on the School bus is available on a termly basis. If you have more than one child using the service we offer a sibling discount of 50% for the second child.
A place on the bus can be shared between two families, for example, if your daughter only uses the route in the morning, you would be welcome to ‘share’ the place and cost with a friend whose daughter uses only the return trip.
We are happy to offer occasional use to families, in the case of emergencies and if there is a seat available on the required route (for example, if a parent’s car has broken down).
Routes are reviewed on a regular basis and may change subject to demand.
Locations for the main stops on the routes are:
Bromyard
Ridgeway Cross – Bosbury – Bromyard
Pershore
Hanley Swan – Upton upon Severn – Baughton – Pershore
Worcester
Powick – Worcester
Cheltenham
Tewkesbury – Norton – Gloucester – Cheltenham
