The School building may be closed but we continue to deliver an outstanding education via our online learning platforms.

In line with the government announcement in early January 2021 we are teaching and learning online until further guidance is received. A small number of boarders and critical worker children remain in School. As well as a full timetable of lessons, co-curricular activities and academic drop ins online we continue to provide outstanding pastoral care, supporting girls and staff through these difficult times.

Keeping Everyone Safe and Well

The safety of all pupils and staff remains our topmost priority. Whether your daughter is returning to Malvern St James Girls' School as an existing pupil or joining us for the first time, COVID-19 has raised some challenges which we have addressed to ensure her health and wellbeing at School and in the Houses.

Please read our updated booklet below for further information on our procedures.

Lateral Flow Testing

The Dome has been converted into our Lateral Flow Testing Centre. We have the facilities available to test all staff and Senior pupils to help find asymptomatic cases, thereby breaking chains of transmission.

Remote Teaching and Learning

Following the UK Government's announcement of a national lockdown (January 2021) we have moved to online learning.

Prep, Senior and Sixth Form girls are to follow their existing timetables which will guide them to which subjects they should be studying each day. Each teacher will set work and teach each lesson using Microsoft Teams.
