SIXTH FORM

An appreciative audience attended the recent Young Performers Platform to hear a mixed programme featuring younger and more senior musicians, accompanied at the piano by Mr Forbes-Peckham and Dr Grobler. Charlotte Jones started the concert with a very lyrical account of Arne's 'When Daisies Pied' and the audience were also treated to some melodic flute performances by Pippa Wollen, Cindy Chan and Elizabeth Thomas. Very much the youngest player on this occasion, but nevertheless with an assured performance, was Catherina Grobler with her ‘Vicar of Bray' on the violin. The concert was rounded off with two excellent mature vocal performances from Brahm Jagpal and Zara Edwards.
