SIXTH FORM
GCSE and A Level Art Exhibition

The Art Department hosted a private view of all GCSE, AS and A2 artwork on Friday 20th May. The exhibition space spanned the entire three floors of the Art block. All A level work was displayed in the 6th form studio, which had been transformed into an impressive gallery space for the occasion. The event was very well attended by parents, friends, staff and girls and much appreciation was given to both the volume and quality of work produced by students.
It was a particularly auspicious occasion for one A2 student, Camilla Hollingsworth, who was presented with a cheque for £100 for winning the most popular piece of Art submitted to the recent Herefordshire and Worcestershire Schools' Art Awards. She had already won third prize overall in this prestigious event earlier in the year with her striking and thought provoking multi-media piece 'Behind the Wire'.
