SENIOR SCHOOL
Spring Croquet at Shrewsbury

Fourteen croquet players from Years 10 to 13 set off for School House, Shrewsbury School as guests of Mr and Mrs Bell for what is becoming an annual social event; playing croquet and chatting over an informal lunch. All the MSJ girls were paired up with their opposite number in School House and Croquet began in earnest. Others chatted over lunch and waited for their matches. It was a gloriously sunny day and everyone enjoyed the idyllic surroundings. Congratulations to Freddie Abiru and Tom Fletcher who were match champions.
Kellina Gannon said ‘The day was amazing, I met new friends and learnt how to play croquet. Everyone was really friendly and I look forward to the next event'.
Ronnie Yeung agreed, ‘What I enjoyed most was playing croquet and making more friends. It was great fun to learn a new kind of sport and I thought the boys were real gentlemen!'
