MSJ Spanish students had a treat recently when a Spanish Production Company, Onatti Theatre Productions, came into School to perform their play ‘Primera Cita’. The story was an hilarious observation of two love-struck Spanish teenagers, María and Carlos, who were getting ready for that most important primera cita, or first date.

The performance proved to be a huge hit with the girls from Years 8 – 13 who study Spanish; they had a fantastic time and enjoyed sitting back and being totally immersed in the Spanish Language.

“It was very funny and I now feel more confident with Spanish, as I understood quite a lot.” said Rosie Baird, Year 8, a Spanish beginner.

Lucy Walton, another beginner, agreed “I thought the play was very amusing. I really enjoyed it and I would love to see something like that again.”
