Malvern St James v Malvern College in Maths Team Challenge
MSJ mathematicians took part in a ‘friendly' competition against Malvern College in preparation for the Regional Finals of the Senior Maths Team Challenge at the end of this month. The competition lasted 90 minutes and the girls completed 3 rounds in teams of 4. The mixture of questions required knowledge of the number system, combinatorics and geometry.
Our girls performed incredibly well, with three of our teams finishing in the top four. Congratulations to everyone who took part and especially to the overall winners; Annie Chau, Lin Chen Ming, Jocelyn Liu and Erica Wan.
