SENIOR SCHOOL

The Maths Department is celebrating our recent success in the Junior Maths Challenge, in which 30 girls from Years 7 and 8 took part. The Junior Challenge is aimed at the top third of pupils nationally in Year 8 or below and involves answering 25 multiple choice questions in one hour under normal exam conditions.

Particular congratulations go to Olivia Allen, Alice Elt and Lucinda Hobden, whose great scores resulted in Silver Certificates. Bronze Certificates were awarded to Hannah Willis, Elizabeth Jones, Rosie Baird, Flora Barber, Emily Walker and Pippa Wollen.

Mrs Marsay said ‘We are very proud of the performance of all our girls in this prestigious national competition and the Maths Department have awarded prizes to the top three contestants. Well done to everyone who took part.'
