PREPARATORY DEPARTMENT

At MSJ Pre-Prep Department we provide a warm, welcoming and secure learning environment for all of our girls.

We recognise that children joining our School have already learned a great deal, and the Early Years Education is based on these principles:

• Offering structure for learning with a range of starting points, content that matches the needs of young children and activity that provides opportunities for learning both indoors and outdoors

In the girls' first years at School we encourage caring and warm relationships, awareness and appreciation of different cultures and a sense of curiosity and desire to learn. Girls become confident, independent learners who value self-discipline. Children work both individually and in collaborative groups, developing skills which provide an invaluable base for future learning.
