PREPARATORY DEPARTMENT

The full school Open day took place on Saturday 6^th November. The School welcomed over 100 visitors, including both current parents and prospective girls. Each new visitor was matched up with a Senior School guide, who remained with them throughout the morning.

The day begun with a presentation from the Headmistress, Mrs Patricia Woodhouse, who reminded visitors of the fantastic facilities and teaching skills MSJ is able to offer girls as part of their education. The Head Girl, Ellie Kirby, and Deputy Head Girl, Anthea Cheung, gave everyone a snap shot of the experiences they have enjoyed whist at MSJ. Our Senior MSJ Guides then took visitors on a tour of the School, allowing them to appreciate the wide range of facilities available, alongside a multitude of displays and activities arranged by both staff and girls.

A delicious lunch was enjoyed by all in the York Hall, followed by tours of the boarding houses Batsford, Mount and Greenslade to round off the day.

The atmosphere was one of excitement and energy – visitors, girls and staff all helped to create a fantastic day for all.
