PREPARATORY DEPARTMENT

Malvern St James hosted another highly successful Coffee Morning on 24^th September as part of the Macmillan Cancer Support World's Largest Coffee Morning campaign. Girls in Years 8, 9 and the Sixth Form worked very hard to bake a staggering 660 cakes! Various stalls with activities such as Guess The Name of The Teddy and Guess The Number of Sweets in a Jar proved very popular. Mr Woodhouse, the Headmistress's husband, baked a delicious Dundee cake for the Guess The Weight of the Cake, which was won by Mrs Huntley. Mr Forbes-Peckham and Mr Halliday from the Music Department provided some delightful music.

Over £770 was raised on the day, which is a very impressive achievement. Thank you to everyone who supported this event and in particular to the organiser, Mrs Marsay.
