PREPARATORY DEPARTMENT

This term MSJ opened its doors to several Prep Schools to celebrate Languages and the art of communication. Pupils from Years 5 and 6 were split into teams, each experiencing a different combination of languages. The rich and diverse morning started with a communication task organised by the English Department and then children moved on to their taster language sessions.

In such a short space of time, MSJ was able to highlight just a few of the wonderful array of languages on offer here. The youngsters experienced Greek, Arabic, French, Italian, Chinese, Spanish, Japanese and German.

Everyone had a fantastic morning, with one of our little visitors commenting ‘I never imagined I would be able to speak so many languages!'
