PREPARATORY DEPARTMENT

Eight schools entered this year’s competition. Our judge Mr Piet Grobler, Lecturer at Worcester University and professional Illustrator, spent several hours judging the vast array of exciting artwork on display. MSJ Year 1 was awarded the group prize for their Totem Poles, Alice Delhanty (MSJ) won the Year 5 prize and Tito Otegbeye (MSJ) won Highly Commended in the Year 6 category. The overall competition was won by Henry Phillips-Sheard from The Elms School, Colwall.

Despite some very long journeys caused by local traffic chaos, both MSJ and visiting families were keen to spend time admiring the fantastic entries and enjoying a tour around our splendid Art Department and many were planning their entries for next year’s competition!
