Junior Department Trip to Cotswold Water Park - a report by Mrs Wilkinson
54 of the Junior Pupils braved the inclement weather and set off for the beach trip in layers of cosy clothing, with waterproofs and wellies!
In actual fact… the weather was quite kind to us. We had a couple of cloud bursts, but the sun shone in between and nothing was going to put the girls off a good swim in the lake. Other activities included; playing rounders, building sandcastles, playing in the brilliant adventure playground and a fossil walk. Mr Charles and Mr Gurney prepared a tasty barbecue, while Mrs Jones and Mrs Sherwood braved the water.
We finished the day with an ice cream and a rousing rendition of ‘Thunderation' – our Junior Department song, before returning, exhausted, to School.
