Batsford opens its doors at last!
The waiting is over! Batsford finally opens its doors on Monday 6th September after many months of hard work during its conversion from the Bursary to the fantastic junior boarding house for years 3 – 8.
Surrounded by a large, secluded garden, Batsford House has a homely and friendly feel, with a games room, common room, kitchen and IT suite for the girls to relax in.
The dormitories are spacious and bright, all with views of the garden.
Mrs Heather Cardy, Batsford Housemistress, has moved from Hatfield and is already settled into the house, eagerly awaiting the girls' arrival. Mrs Cardy said, ‘I am so excited about the opening of Batsford. The girls' bedrooms are beautiful, and there's lots of space for fun and relaxation. Batsford will be a fabulous house and I am really looking forward to welcoming the girls.'
