Boarding at Malvern St James Preparatory Department is designed to offer you the greatest possible degree of flexibility combined with peace of mind. Girls may board from Year 3 (8 years upwards).

With occasional, flexi and weekly options available, boarding will add a whole other dimension to your daughter's school life. Girls benefit from learning to live together in a comfortable and happy community, where they build on the friendships, independence and confidence of the school day.

Boarding supports both the modern family and the school experience. The opportunity to stay at school up to three nights per week provides a convenient and flexible option for busy family life, while your daughter benefits from the experience of living in a community. For other girls weekly boarding is a preferable option: our weekly boarders arrive at School on Sunday night or Monday morning, and return home on a Friday evening.
