PARENTS

In order to create a realistic Vet Role Play Area in the classroom, Pre-Prep 1 girls visited the Veterinary Practice in Avenue Road to get some hands-on experience! The children were shown around the surgery and met several poorly animals; a dog called Gully who allowed us to hear his heartbeat, another dog called Cam, who was recovering from a broken neck caused in a road accident, a beautiful stray cat who's x-ray we saw too and a noisy puppy called Rude Fred (because he barked so much!). On their return to School, the girls created a fabulous pretend Vets Surgery and have enjoyed tending to their toy animals.
