PARENTS

Four of our musicians were delighted to play at the showcase Concert of Young Worcestershire Musicians last week. The talented quartet, consisting of Genevieve Phillips in the junior category on cello and Ronnie Young, Helen Liu and Epiphany Poon in the senior category on violin, piano and cello respectively, played in the Lady Chapel of Worcester Cathedral. The girls were selected from 38 students from across Worcestershire to perform in the final concert.

The girls have also been invited by Dr Charles Wifffen to attend a day at Bath Spa University and play in the Michael Tippett Studio, a fantastic opportunity for the girls to gain further experience.

Lynne Lindner, Director of Music, said  “We are very proud of the girls' achievements and this is great recognition of their musical talents. The concert was a wonderful celebration of young Worcestershire musicians”.
