PARENTS

As part of the ‘Peers in Schools' programme, girls were treated to a visit from Lord Faulkner of Worcester on Friday 15th October. Year 11 and 12 students enjoyed a presentation on the work and role of the House, to support the citizenship/social studies curriculum.

The visit was especially of interest to girls looking to study Politics at University, but also for all those attending, as part of a broader education into the democratic process. The presentation was both stimulating and thought-provoking, with several girls continuing their discussions over lunch and arranging a visit to the Houses of Parliament in the coming months.
