PARENTS

Pupils from Years 5 and 6 were immersed in chocolate heaven during a recent visit to Cadbury World. Healthy Eating policy was temporarily put to one side whilst the girls revelled in the delights of sweets, chocolate and cocoa beans!

An historical study into the developing world of the Aztecs formed an important part of the day and girls discovered how our society has been influenced by the discovery of chocolate. There was an opportunity to explore the Aztec civilisation and dress up in ceremonial clothes and head-dresses.

The trip was very successful and provided a solid foundation of knowledge for future Aztec studies.
