Alton Towers Trip - a report by Ms Turnbull

On a chilly September morning, 131 girls from Years 7 - 13 and 12 members of staff piled into 3 coaches and headed for Alton Towers. Although it was early, the coaches buzzed with excited chatter.
Upon arrival there was a quick distribution of tickets and the girls rushed off to find the scariest ride available! Mrs Cardy persuaded the Year 7 girls to try the Squirrel Nutty ride, her favourite, followed by Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and the Dragon Train.
Mrs Woodhouse and her husband arrived just after midday and found some very happy girls throughout the park. The most popular rides were ‘Oblivion', ‘Air' and the new, terrifying ‘Thirteen'. Mrs Holbourn bravely endured a soaking on the water rides with Years 7 and 8. All agreed it was a fantastic day out. Georgie Kwok, Year 10, said ‘My adrenalin was rushing and the rides were so exhilarating!' Catherine Stylinou, Year 11, agreed that the day was ‘totally awesome' and Evie Phillips, Year 7, definitely wants to go again!
