About Malvern

Malvern St James is located in the heart of rural England and provides girls with a safe and secure environment in which to live and learn.

The Main School building is at the core of the School community, surrounded by a neighbourhood of boarding houses, sports fields and specialist centres for Art and Technology, Drama, Music and Science.

The School is only a few minutes’ walk away from the town centre where girls may visit the shops, restaurants, cinema and theatre. At weekends, older girls may go further a field to Birmingham, Cheltenham and Worcester.

The School runs a daily minibus service to Worcester, Hereford, Ledbury and surrounding villages.

Malvern St James has excellent transport links. Great Malvern railway station, situated opposite the School, has direct services to London and the Midlands. The M5 (Junction 7) is only a few miles away from Malvern and Birmingham Airport is approximately one and a half hours travel by car.
