OLD GIRLS

Nearly 100 Old Girls of Lawnside School came to MSJ for a reunion lunch in the Lawnside Room on Saturday 19 March. Mrs Trish Woodhouse, the Headmistress of Malvern St James, with Mrs Hannah Rice, the Chairman of the MSJ Old Girls' Association and Mrs Elisabeth Rambridge, the Secretary of the OGA warmly welcomed Miss Duseline Stewart, who was Headmistress of Lawnside from 1971 to 1990. The reunion was organised by Old Lawnsidian Mrs Pippa Nelson (nee Holt) for a final reunion of the Old Lawnsidian Society before it merged with the Old Girls' Association of Malvern St James. Old Girls enjoyed an exhibition of the Lawnside archives and some Old Girls returned wearing their distinctive Lawnside blazers and boaters.
