This article was in the recent OGA NewsThe Animal Refuge Kansai ARK, which Elizabeth Oliver (MGC 1956) supports in Japan, celebrates its 20th Anniversary of rescuing and rehoming homeless animals. Elizabeth emailed ‘We've had a Champagne Tea Party at the British Embassy in Tokyo, attended by the British Ambassador and his wife who are great supporters of ARK. We are raising funds to build a state of the art sanctuary, which is difficult in the present economic climate'.
