LANGUAGES AND EXPRESSIVE ARTS DAY

On the 25th June the MSJ Spanish and French Departments joined forces with the Drama Department to provide a challenging and thoroughly enjoyable day for current Year 9 girls.

The girls had just one day to adapt fairytales and produce ten minute mini productions in Spanish and French. Fairytales included Beauty and the Beast and Cinderella. Girls worked very hard throughout the day to learn lines in a different language.

At the end of the school day, the Drama Centre was full to capacity with an audience who were entertained by wonderful adaptations and closed with some wonderful comments: “It’s amazing just what the girls can do in such a short space of time”. “Thoroughly entertaining!” “Lovely to hear the girls using different languages”.
