New Head's Appointment
Following an extensive search and a careful and rigorous selection process, the Chairman and Governors are delighted to announce that they have appointed Mrs Olivera Raraty BA PGCE to be Headmistress of Malvern St James from 1 September 2016, following 6 years of distinguished service by Mrs Woodhouse.
For the past 6 years Mrs Raraty has been Deputy Head (Academic) at the leading London girls’ school, Notting Hill and Ealing High School. Prior to that she had extensive senior leadership and management experience in academic and pastoral roles during a long career at Wycombe Abbey School as Head of History and Politics, Head of Year, and as Assistant Director of Studies. Mrs Raraty and her husband David have two daughters.
Mrs Raraty is very much looking forward to joining our School next September.
