Prep performs at the Great Malvern Christmas Light Switch On
'In the Bleak Midwinter', the sound of the Prep girls performing in front of crowds as part of the Great Malvern Christmas Light Switch On, on Saturday (25 November), could easily melt the heart of Scrooge himself!
The girls did a fantastic job of entertaining expectant crowds as they performed a collection of Christmas carols and songs, accompanied by our very own Miss Woodhouse and Mrs Lindner. 'Whilst Shepherds Watched Their Flocks by Night' over the other side of the Malvern Hills, the tuneful voices of children carried over to rest upon their ears. Yes, it's certainly 'Beginning To Sound A Lot like Christmas' everywhere you go and Prep's rendition of everyone's favourite Christmas carols blew us all 'Away (In a Manger'). When the girls had finished singing, we all left the Malvern Light Switch On feeling much more connected to what happened many moons ago; 'Once In Royal David's City'. With 'One Star' in the sky, we all retired for a 'Silent Night' of hot chocolate and mince pies.
'O Come All Ye Faithful' to our next festive event, the Nativity in the final week of term. Until then, 'We Wish You a Merry Christmas' and A Happy New Year.
