Pre-Prep visits Worcester Fire Station

Prep Trips & Visits

Picture the scene. You are stood in a drysuit holding a bucket in the middle of an empty forecourt. Lined up in front of you, 10 feet away, stands an army. A somewhat short army. In MSJ uniform. Standing by a fire engine. With a hose in their hands and excitable teachers behind them. Imagine when those 4, 5 and 6 year olds don't quite manage to get the water in the bucket you are holding...

Poor old Chris the Fireman doesn't need to picture the scene, he lived it when the MSJ Pre-prep girls visited Worcester Fire Station on Thursday 9 November! The girls visited the Station as part of their learning topic, 'People Who Help Us' where they were shown how to use a hose, found out more about the role of Firefighters, and got to explore a Fire Engine.

Afterwards they visited ASK restaurant to try their hand at being chefs where they made their own pizzas for lunch. All in a day's work for the MSJ Pre-Prep 1 girls!
