Bouncy Castle Fun for Boarders
After a packed first week, the girls had a chance to relax and let off some steam on an exciting inflatable assault course on Saturday afternoon.
The wet and windy British weather looked slightly ominous, but in true MSJ style, we kept calm, carried on and decamped to the Dome. The bouncy castle assault course brought out the competitive side of all the girls who had a go, even our Y11’s who had said they were too old for such things…
Hatfield’s Head of House, Verity Byrne, said: "We all thoroughly enjoyed last weekend’s activity! Regardless of age, everyone took their turn racing each other across the bouncy castle. It was a great opportunity for the different houses and ages to interact with one another in a fun environment.”
In the end, the youngest boarders from Batsford put everyone to shame with their speed across the course and their seemingly endless supply of energy! When everyone was finally tired out, it was back to Hatfield for a fantastic BBQ supper - a well-deserved treat after an exhausting afternoon!
