BURSARY

Professional Bursaries and Forces Discount

Daughters of current members of the Teaching, Clergy and Armed Forces professions are eligible for this bursary. Professional Bursaries are means tested and granted, on the recommendation of the Bursary, at the discretion of the Headmistress. Bursaries are re-assessed on an annual basis to allow for changes in circumstances.

Scholarships and Exhibitions

New girls entering the School at Year 7, Year 9 or in the Sixth Form may apply for a Scholarship, these awards are also available to current girls. The School offers Academic Scholarships and Exhibitions together with Art, Drama (Sixth Form only), Music and Sports Awards. All awards are granted on the basis of evidence of excellence and outstanding potential in a given area.

Level of Assistance and Application Process

A scholarship is worth up to a maximum of 40% of fees and an Exhibition is worth up to a maximum of 20% of fees. Girls should apply using application forms available from the Registrar, during the Autumn Term preceding entry to the School. Awards are effective from the beginning of the Autumn Term following the Scholarship assessment process.
