Girls at Malvern St James have seized the opportunity to learn a new and valuable skill – sign language. A five week taster course proved very popular, as Evie Ainscough, Year 11, explains, ‘It was great fun. I learnt so much in such a small amount of time!'
Some older girls started the new Sign Language lessons whilst on study leave. Alexandra Miller, Year 13, said, ‘It has been a great way to take the stress of examinations off my mind'. Even our very busy Head Girl found the time to fit a few lessons into her hectic schedule.
Following the success of this taster course, Malvern St James will be offering Sign Language lessons in the Autumn Term.
