OLD GIRLS
Please support Nicole Wright!

Nicole is running the Virgin London Marathon on Sunday 21st April. She is in a team with work colleagues raising funds for UK Youth. This is the first time that she has run a marathon, her previous running experience being limited to a half-marathon and a number of 10k races. The team of 8 hopes to raise a total of £8000 for the charity.
Nicole explains "UK Youth is the leading national youth work charity supporting over 750,000 young people, helping them to raise their aspirations, realise their potential and have their achievements recognised via non-formal, accredited education programmes and activities. Through practical and active means it really helps young people who have not had the same opportunities as I had, for example, build up a positive image of themselves and for their future."
Their website is: http://www.ukyouth.org/
After graduating from King's College London with a 1st class History degree, Nicole spent 5 years in Nice/Monaco, working mainly in the banking sector. However, at the end of 2008 she decided on a change of career into the event management sector as it was something that she had always had an interest in. She now works for a company called Limelight Sports who organise mass participation grass roots events throughout the UK, such as charity runs. Nicole emailed ‘I get a lot of satisfaction out of what I do now and feel very positive about my future'.
