MSJ has had some more impressive results in Netball.

Yrs 9, 10 and 11 all played Prince Henry's High School before half term.

The Yr 9s played very well and won 12-6. Player of the match goes to Josie Hobbs.

The Yr 10 team played outstandingly again, with an extremely impressive win of 43-2. I think it is clear that they dominated that match and played very well together as a team. Well done! The player of the match is awarded to Anna Baird.

The Yr 11 team kept up the winning streak with a brilliant victory 23-4. The players of that match go to Jess Wright and Sophy Coombes Roberts.

The 1st Netball team were depleted in numbers when they played Prince Henry's the following day. However, despite this, they also still went on to win 21-10. Thank you to the Year 11 girls that stepped in to play. The players of the match are awarded to Alex Miller and Jackie Koh.

MSJ girls have also been competing in Lacrosse.

The U15s, Second and First lax teams played RGS before half term.

The U15s got off to a quick start which ensured they won their game 9-5. The players of the match go to Lottie Van Praag and Pandy Fowles.

The Second's also played well and drew their match 1-1.

The Firsts, who were playing with depleted numbers, played really well together despite missing players and with some great work in the attack won 6-2.

Now, I have some news of an outstanding individual success:

Emily Merrick has recently competed at the U20's Midlands Cross-Country Championships. She has done fantastically and finished in second place. Well done Emily what a great achievement!

There has also been some exciting news for the MSJ Hockey teams that were competing in the South and West Worcestershire Hockey League last term.

We have recently received the results and found out that the mixed Yr 10/11 team have been placed as runners up. What a great achievement, well done!

The Yr 9s have been playing really well as a team all season. They are a strong team that are still unbeaten and always show lots of enthusiasm. I am delighted to announce that they have won their league.

This is our last half of term playing winter sports and I am sure we will enjoy and be successful in the many matches and tournaments that are coming up.
