The men's 18 hole competition was won by Charles Probert and our very own Headgirl, Lucy Walton, won the ladies' 18 hole competition. Sue Adeney won the 9 hole competition.

The slight inconvenience of heavy showers and thunderstorms didn’t stop the Friends Tea Party from taking place. Instead, 130 girls, family members and teachers enjoyed a delicious spread of sandwiches and cakes in York Hall. For the younger guests there was face painting, hook the duck and wooden tower building. It was a wonderful way to end another busy week.
On Friday 27 February York Hall was transformed with haybales, gingham and metres of bunting into the venue for the first FMSJ Barn Dance. 150 girls, parents, families and staff spent an enjoyable evening dancing and do-si-doing. Halfway through the evening a delicious meal of chilli or hotdogs was enjoyed by all, before rounding off the night’s entertainment with everyone participating in a giant circle dance. An impressive total of £900 was raised.
