CHEMISTRY TECHNICIAN

CHEMISTRY TECHNICIAN

Required for October 2017

39 hours per week term time

(34 weeks per year, plus 25 days in school holidays)        

This is a key role for this busy area of the School.  The Chemistry Technician appointed will be a specialist, setting up all practical activities, including A Level.  They will carry out risk assessments and follow COSHH regulations.  Training can be given as appropriate.  Applications are invited from those with an appropriate Chemistry background.  Prior experience as a Science Technician is highly desirable,as is experience of A Level practical work.

There will also be the potential within this position for the post holder to apply for the Senior Technicians role.

2 Year Fixed Term Position

We are currently recruiting for an Apprentice Fitness Instructor/Personal Trainer. The position will educate the applicant to achieve Level 3 status on the Register of Exercise Professionals. The role will give you all of the skills and experience required to work in the Health & Leisure Industry.

Applicants must have a passion for Health & Fitness and have a real desire to help others reach their goals and live rewarding healthy lives. The role also entails training as a lifeguard.

Fitness Instructor / Personal Trainer

Fitness Instructor / Personal Trainer

£15,210 per annum, 39 hrs per week + PT income

52 weeks per year

We are seeking to appoint an inspirational Fitness Instructor/Personal Trainer to assist with the day to day running of the ‘state of the art’ Sports Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out gym inductions, teaching classes and personal training for members and MSJ pupils. Applicants must have a passion for Health & Fitness and have a real desire to help others reach their goals and live rewarding healthy lives.

The successful candidate should possess excellent communication and customer service skills with previous experience of working in a fitness team. A National Certificate in Fitness Instruction & Personal Training (REPs Level 3 minimum) is essential.
