Salary dependent upon experience

We are looking to appoint a Hockey Coach to assist the Head of PE in continuing to develop Malvern St James’ hockey programme.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Planning and delivering training sessions to Malvern St James’ Senior and Junior teams during the games sessions that run in the afternoons from Monday through to Friday.
  • Supporting the Head of PE with midweek and Saturday fixtures.
  • Providing other assistance to staff as required.
  • Assisting with 1:1 coaching sessions for our elite players, depending on the level of the applicant.

Applicants should hold a minimum of a UKCC Level 1 Hockey/UKCC England Hockey Sessional Coach Qualification and/or have played in the National League and have some coaching experience. Pay will be calculated on an hourly basis, with time-sheets submitted monthly.

The successful applicant should also be able to umpire School fixtures.
