Graduate Boarding Tutor

Required from September 2016 for one academic year

We are seeking to appoint a Graduate Boarding Tutor who can combine creative energy with enthusiasm and experience to help run one of our vibrant and flourishing Boarding Houses.  This is a key role to offer guidance and support to students in the Boarding House. The position includes five overnight shifts.

Due to the nature of the role within the boarding house, the successful candidate will be female.

Hockey Coach / Boarding Assistant

£13,433 per annum + accommodation + free meals

We wish to recruit a dynamic graduate looking for their first role in an exciting and challenging environment.

The role involves supporting the Physical Education Department in assisting with hockey teaching / coaching, together with the ability to help out with other sports as and when required.  A part of this role will be work as a Graduate Boarding Assistant for 3 evenings and overnight duties per week, plus 2 weekends to be worked every term in our welcoming boarding houses.

MIS Data Administrator

MIS Data Administrator– Full Time

Full Year (39 hours per week)

We wish to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced Information Systems Administrator.  The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate technical understanding of data administration; they will maintain and facilitate the use of systems and databases throughout the school, including academic and administrative.

Candidates should possess relevant qualifications and be an efficient communicator, able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.  They will ideally have some experience in a similar role, being able to show excellent organisational skills.  Experience of working in a school would be advantageous.

Director of Music

Music lies at the heart of the school and requires an outstanding

Director of Music who can lead, inspire and engage. 

We are seeking a highly motivated, energetic, well qualified Director of Music, to lead the Music in the School and contribute fully to the busy and prosperous Expressive Arts Department. The successful candidate will be capable of inspiring the Music from Early Years through to Sixth Form, both within the curriculum and within a broad extra-curricular setting. The department secures outstanding results at GCSE and A Level, as well as through examination boards such as ABRSM, taking girls to Diploma and Conservatoire Level. Experience of delivering curricular Music to A Level and University/Oxbridge Entrance Level is essential, along with a proven track record of leading exciting extra-curricular activities.

The successful candidate will:

  • have proven ability to lead a team and communicate effectively with people
  • have a good Music degree and Music qualifications
  • be an excellent classroom practitioner with a determination to deliver innovative teaching and learning in this exciting area
  • be committed to the enhancement of the Musical education and experience for Girls within the curriculum and the extra-curricular programme, demonstrating vision and creative flair
  • be expected to contribute to the pastoral life of the School.
